Our clinic started with a personal experience that led to the creation of a clinic that focuses entirely on male sterilization, without compromising personal care and professional guidance.
One of our founders wanted to have a vasectomy, but after a referral by a doctor, he ended up on the waiting list in hospital, where he was faced with a waiting period of up to 38 weeks.
With a wish for a faster solution, he went to a private clinic, but there was no personal guidance and experience he expected for such an important procedure. It was from this personal experience that the idea for De Herenkliniek came about. We believe it's possible to handle any man's sterilization request with expert, personalized care while still keeping wait times short.
That's why we decided to do things differently. This personal approach is central to De Herenkliniek. We understand that doubts and questions are normal with this procedure.

While every doctor is authorized to perform a vasectomy, not every doctor is competent to perform it. That is why, at De Herenkliniek, we consciously choose to only work with doctors who have extensive experience with this specific procedure, including surgeons and urologists in training. This is not only for expert care, but also as an opportunity for these medical professionals to be able to use their experience outside the hospital.
