At De Herenkliniek, there is never a woman on the treatment table - and yet this message is for her

Every day, men come to us. They make a conscious choice, close a chapter, and go home. What we rarely say out loud, but what we do see: behind almost every man who comes to us, there is a woman who has laid the foundation for everything he now considers “complete”.

The completed wish to have children. What a nice concept, really.

Completed - but by whom?

A vasectomy is a minor procedure. Twenty minutes, a local anaesthetic, and done. But the road there - the pregnancies, the deliveries, the years of care and embrace - was anything but small.

Mothers carry that story within them. Not as a burden, but as something that belongs to them. And that is often tacitly taken for granted.

Today, we wanted to turn that around.

Just as an acknowledgment.

We are a clinic for men. That remains the case. But we are also people who understand that behind every choice there is a story - and that story often starts with her.
